got an email from our intrepid explorer at around noon today. He’s in northern Iceland, waiting to try again for Greenland.

Well the day began with a quick check of the weather in Greenland and i knew the answer when the page opened,there is a big low moving in from Canada so i headed over to the airfield just to confirm and there i found my new arctic friends that i spent 5 hrs flying around with yesterday,there is nothing going in says my good friend nuuk, go north he says it will be my best chance,coming from a man who takes a month to cross the icecap to visit his daughter i said north its my good friend nuuk,

so i check and there is my flight leaving in 2hrs so with a quick transfer of tickets i was heading north to akureyri the top of Iceland,i checked into the same hotel i stayed in last year,www.keahotels.is (hotel kea) but as i got a good refund for the flight to Greenland and the helicopter i told the young man behind the desk give me your best room with a view,he told me how much he loved Ireland and the Irish and gave me the best room in the house with a balcony, I’m so happy did ye see the size of the room the airline put me in last night,if i farted it bounced from wall to wall,see photo of my village view here,so anyway its a wait and see moment we have snow clouds moving in but there is a chance later tonight of clear sky,s ,but for now I’m going down for a pint of Guinness and a nice big steak,ill check back in later if i get any updates,thanks for all your emails I’m laughin me ass off at some of your reply,
