there were many websites i studied to learn as much as possible about Greenland and its people before going and what always hit me was that alot of times it said entering the east of Greenland was like stepping of the side of the earth,
IT IS,
i will never forget that flight we were not 20 minutes from the coast of Iceland when it started,i was not reading the gouges but if i was to guess every time the plane dropped it had to be a few thousand feet,sitting at window with the propeller just outside i started hearing a difference in the noise,if i could not hear the propeller Chopin, we were dropin, so i knew when to grab on,we got about 2000ft from the landing strip but the winds just blew us away like a feather in the wind,i gained alot of respect for the arctic being so close but yet so far,but for now a picture speaks a thousand words so Anthony put a good slide show together when it opens click on view in high quality,i hope you
